Moving a Table:
We move all makes and styles of tables and we highly suggest that this should only be done by a Professional for the following reasons:
-To keep the factory warranty if you are the original owner
-Tables CANNOT be moved in one piece - serious damage can occur to almost every part of the table.
Furthermore, 90% of the time, we will be able to re-use your old cloth. Companies that always insist that you need new cloth either are looking to make a sale or are not able to do the job correctly to re-use the old cloth.
Our trucks are set up to move tables since this is not a sideline with us but our profession.
If you have the cloth off of your table DO NOT try to wash it to save money. It is made of at least 70% wool and will shrink and will not be able to be reinstalled on your table. Most of the time, you get get most of the chalk off of your table by using a brush to clean it, and burn marks do not come off even with washing as they are actually a wear on the color itself.
Spot repairs can be made on site for loose cushions but they are unfortunately not guaranteed. Most of the time it is not a real fix but a much less expensive fix that is quick and will work for some time but the best way to repair cushions is to do them in the shop.
New cushions must be done in the shop to make sure they are properly set to BCA and WPBA regulations. These regulations set at what height the nose of the cushion should be along with the angles of the cuts on the end of the rails. They will also be properly fastened to the liner of the rail.
DO NOT LET SOME ONE TELL YOU THEY CAN DO IT PROPERLY IN THE FIELD, AS IT CANNOT BE DONE AND THE CUSHIONS WILL NOT HAVE THE PROPER TIME TO SET AND YOU WILL WASTE TIME AND MONEY!
To test your cushions your ball should travel 4 to 4 1/2 times the length of the table doing the test in the following manner. Shoot the ball from the head spot thru the foot spot with a level cue shot using a firm stroke with center English.
We do all seams with an approved product to a complete and level seam leaving an invisible joint between the slates.
We will install all tables as close to BCA and WPBA specifications and requirements as possible. However, most rooms in a home will not meet all the specifications. In these cases, we will get to them as close as the room will allow. Most BCA and WPBA specifications are for the manufacturing of the table and requirements for sanctioned tournaments. All tables will be flat and level uopon completion of the job and you will be encouraged to check it yourself for complete satisfaction.
No mater who you purchase your table through, our installation services are available, call for your quote.
